I was 'Tagged' by Yat-Yee Chong to answer these 19 questions, and then tag 4 other bloggers, so, here goes...

1) If you have pets, do you see them as animals, or are they members of the family? Pets. Too many of them have ‘joined the circus.’ We named out last pet Expendable—and he was!

2) If you can have a dream come true, what would it be? To feel as energized at 1pm as I do at 7am—Oh, and there is that publishing thing…

3) What is the one thing most hated by you? The way this whole world system is set up

4) What would you do with a billion dollars? I don’t like to think of that much money. I sure wouldn’t keep it and I sure wouldn’t tell anyone about it.

5) What helps to pull you out of a bad mood? Sleep, music and time to myself.

6) Which is more blessed, loving someone or being loved by someone? Well, more happiness in giving than receiving, right?

7) What is your bedtime routine? Nothing out of the ordinary

8) If you are currently in a relationship, how did you meet your partner? I saw him around for a long time—I guess after his brother married my sister we finally met.

9) If you could watch a creative person in the act of the creative process, who would it be? A fellow watercolorist

10) What kinds of books do you read? Non-fiction, literary fiction, the Bible, Bible-based publications

11) How would you see yourself in ten years time? Busy taking care of parents and grandbabies

12) What's your fear? Is that assuming I have only one?

13) Would you give up all the junk food for the rest of your life for the opportunity to visit space? I’m not all that crazy about junk food, and space fascinates me, so, Heck Yeah!

14) Would you rather be single and rich, or married and poor? The later, for sure!

15) What's the first thing you do when you wake up? Go downstairs and make coffee

16) If you could change one thing about your spouse/partner, what would it be? He wishes he had more hair—I’d give him a full head of the great hair he’s already got! (I’m actually quite fond of him as is)

17) If you could pick a new name for yourself, what would it be? When I switched school systems in 9th grade, I also switched to the name I was called at home—it was very confusing to many people. From now on, I think I’d just stick to the one I’ve got

18) Would you forgive and forget no matter how horrible a thing that special someone has done? That all depends upon how that special person feels about it.

19) If you could only eat one thing for the next six months, what would it be? Ciabatta Bread!

And now, I tag...

...and maybe I'll pick others, later...

...and here's question for anyone that cares to answer: Which of the above questions would you find most difficult to answer?

  1. Love these answers. Especially the space one. NO way I'd ever give up junk food. lol.

  2. Yeah, Anne, I'm actually reconsidering that one--not about the junk food, but I don't even like leaving my house...

  3. These are always fun. Space fascinates me too, but I like it better when I watch others go up and explore! There's something so brave about pushing into that frontier.

  4. Each question could be difficult to answer. Probably because I'd second-guess myself on my first answer. The one on what would I do with a billion dollars would probably be the most difficult to answer. That's a lot of money and a big decision!

  5. Great answers, but thanks a lot. Now I have a hankering for Ciabatta.

To answer your question, I'll go with #6. How am I supposed to come up with a humorous answer for that one?

  6. Thanks so much for doing this! Good answers!

  7. Joanne, I think in a perfect world, the space thing is good in theory. I think I'll just change my answer to give up the junk food and live a long healthy life here on the earth!

Helen, I found the Billion Dollar Question very difficult to answer, which is probably obvious from my vague response!

Nate--I know--#6 is like the impossible circular question. I think that if you dwelt on it long enough, You of all people could come up with a humorous (if not ridiculous) answer!

Yat-Yee :) This was actually more fun than I expected! Thanks for the Tag...and for not reneging when I made my scrunchie face :)

  8. me too,,that's what i think,,,

  9. Glenn, I don't know what to think,,,

  10. I agree with you on #4. I wouldn't even tell my kids. ;)

  11. I love ciabatta! It's too good. It was fun getting to know you better. I think I would have answered many of the questions the same way.

  12. Stina, That would be a trick--keeping it from te kids--they seem to have thier ways of making us talk!

Lydia, I've thought about the 'shape' I'd be in at the end of six months if I ate only ciabatta, and wonder if I should have picked nuts instead...

  13. For the most part, the tenor of your answers would be the same as my answers. I think that means that I must have some buried water-coloring talent.

When you told me I was tagged I figured that was something like getting pinned so I needed to come over her to explain that was married but then it wasn't that at all...okay, maybe a little bit of a let down. Alas -- I'll try to do you proud.

  14. I noticed that you tagged two Texans. A clear case of 'Texas Envy'!

  15. Jerry, I simply know how good-natured Texans are!

...and I don't think it would take the answering or 19 questions to indicate that you very likely have some buried water-coloring talent! (No. Really. You have an artistic eye)

I'm also very pleased to know that your marital union will remain in tact! I look forward to your answers :)

  16. I'd definitely take the space visit over junk food as well!!

  17. Paul, I have to admit that I am occasionally enticed (by 'friends' who obviously don't have my best interest at heart in this instance) to eat junk food, and I immediately regret it!

  18. Hello JB...I found you via Jerry at Gently Said. What a wonderful blog you have. I like to paint in watercolor ( also colored pencil and acrylics) and have dreams to publish something one day...I also like writing poetry.

I have two blogs. One is about my family, grand kids and my Dad, who has Alzheimer's. Initially, I posted some of my artwork, but have not posted any in awhile. The other one is mostly my "deep thoughts", and poetry.

I am tempted to copy these questions and start a tag thing myself...interesting. I think the forgiveness thing would be most difficult to answer...

I will return...I am going to follow you for sure!

  19. Hello Donna! So glad Jerry sent you over--it's always a pleasure to meet a fellow artist.:) skip on over to your blog...
