Well, it’s that time of
year again! Very soon, we will be heading off to New Hampshire for our twice-yearly pilgrimage. We are
trying out something new with internet out there, but it may be a wash and so
you may not see me around for a little while…then again…*
So, here is a happy
picture to place me in till I get back…
*I actually signed up for
a blog-fest of sorts. Yes, I know it’s highly irregular of me to participate
in a group activity. Why, you ask, would I do that? The answer's in the name— The Insecure Writer’s Group…and it’s only the first Wednesday of every month, so I think I can handle it—even if it takes an hour to upload the post through dial-up internet (okay, I may be exaggerating a little...)!
I'm not going to say I'll miss you because I'll cry. *sniff* But I'll miss you.
ReplyDeleteHappy journeying into the real world. New England at this time of year--sounds like heaven. Have a fabulous time with the insecure writers. (Which I think is pretty much all of us.) I'll miss you!
ReplyDelete"fly safely...."
ReplyDeleteCongrats on signing up for the blog-fest.. I'm steering clear of those presently!
ReplyDeleteHave a pleasant journey!
I'm hoping for inspiration to strike on my sequel, while the first in a supposed trilogy is in consideration with a publisher !!!
I saw that blogfest around. Need to go check it out!
ReplyDeleteIf we don't see ya, have fun on your trip. New Hampshire is gorgeous this time of year! :D
Anne G, You are going to be so busy you won’t have time to miss me! ;)
ReplyDeleteThanks Anne A, we I’m really looking forward to New England and the Insecure Writers thing—though the latter with more trepidation—never done a Blogfest before…too insecure!
Glenn ,,, :) ,,,
Ju, Welcome! Truth be told, I steer clear of Blogfests in general. Too big of a commitment and I get worn out fast. This one must have caught me at one of my more energetic moments, lol! I’m actually kinda looking forward to it.
Thanks for stopping in before I take off, and best wishes on your writing project—the sequel you’re working on, but especially the one under consideration with a publisher. I know how nerve wracking that it!
Best wishes to you!
Jon Paul, It seems to be a popular Blogfest with more ‘purpose’ than most—not that Blogfests seem frivolous to me or anything...noooo. I guess the theme particularly resonated for me...
I do hope out internet thing works out so I can keep in touch. At any rate, I will be loving NH! It’s one of my favorite places when it comes to aesthetics!
Enjoy the New England color for me. Oh how I miss those northeastern hardwoods. As for the blog fest, do post a link to your entry. I'm looking forward to reading it. As for me, I've been AWOL from blogging. But, I'm working on it.
ReplyDeletei've heard good things about that writing group. have fun. god i miss new hampshire, especially this time of year.
ReplyDeleteI hope you have a wonderful time, that picture is beautiful! :)
ReplyDeleteHave a great time!! Beautiful photo!!
ReplyDeleteSharon, The colors aren’t peak yet, though it is still lovely—now if we could get it to stop raining!
ReplyDeleteI will definitely post my Insecure Writers bit—perhaps my subject will be something others can relate to…
Ed, How long has it been since you’ve been back to NH, I wonder! We are looking forward to our move back—being away has made us appreciate it all the more.
So, anyway, maybe you’ll join the Insecure Writer’s Group?
Nut & Paul, it is a pretty picture—it’s the road my parents live on, where we are staying. I hope to post a few more while we’re here! :)
The Insecure Writers Group -- I love that! I hope you enjoy your time in New Hampshire.
ReplyDeleteThanks Lisa! We're having a really nice time. :)
ReplyDeleteI'm jealous of New Hampshire and its actual Fall. Then again, Virginia has been unusually cold this year.
ReplyDeleteSftS—yeah, well I’m a bit jealous of Virginia, especially come winter! Oh, I miss a moderate climate, even if you have been chillier than you like.
ReplyDeleteI love the photo. I've never been to New Hampshire. Have a great time.
ReplyDeleteLynda, I guess living on the other side of the planet might make getting to New Hampshire a bit difficult! It is lovely though it would be lovelier if it would stop raining! :)
